Years 3 and 4 went sightseeing around London as the finale to their 'What Makes Britain Great?' topic. The children went on a ferry cruise down the River Thames and were told facts about the different sights that London is famous for.
Afterwards, they went on a walk around London to see what landmarks they could see. These included Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Downing Street, we saw the 'Changing of the Guards' and of course Buckingham Palace!
The flag was flying so they even got the chance to wave to the Queen!
