Today, all the children retold our story, Journey. This story doesn’t have any words so we retold it using our words and pictures. We used story language, once upon a time, next, then, after that, suddenly and fortunately.
A huge welcome back to all our Year Ones, and a very happy welcome to our new EYFS children. We are looking forward to kick starting another super year with you all, love from EYFS/Year One Team.

Making the most of the Sunshine

We have been exploring journeys this topic. We all had a great go at creating models that reminded us of journeys we had been on, here are some examples:

Exploring Autumn

Following on from our learning about journeys, we have begun to wonder about the journey of a letter. What is a letter? Where does it go? How does it get here? We have been so inspired, we have been choosing to write our own letters during our child lead learning.

We have been discovering human and physical geography in preparation for exploring our local environment.
